Dunedin has a spectacular and varied coastline with a host of safe swimming beaches. Visit St. Clair with its vibrant and cosmopolitan Esplanade just ten minutes from the city, Tunnel Beach moody, arguably the most dramatic and romantic spot in Dunedin. For the more adventurous, visit Long Beach; a Mecca for rock climbers and cave dwellers that can be reached via Port Chalmers.

Day 6: Wellington

The capital of New Zealand has a lively culture and arts scene. Home of New Zealand’s film industry, it has earned itself the title ‘Wellywood’ in recent years. There are plenty of top-quality restaurants, cafés, bars, galleries, shops and theatres to find, with attractive Victorian architecture to feast your eyes on too.

Day 7: Picton

Picton harbour is surrounded by beautiful views, palm tree lined promenades and native bush wildlife.
