Day 1: Dubai

For all Dubai’s futuristic appeal and abundance of western entertainments – a sleek metro that zips through the sky like something out of Blade Runner, sumptuous shopping malls, an indoor ski park, and countless bars – there is just as much fun to be had in the simple pleasures of “the Orient”: haggling for gold and frankincense in the bustling souqs, savouring the sunset from the back of a camel, inhaling from a fragrant sheesha pipe on the fairly-lit deck of an old wooden dhow.

Day 2: Dubai
Day 3: Manama
Day 4: Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is simply a stunning mixture of historical culture, tradition and modern developments. The second most populated cities of the United Arab Emirates. Visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque with its 82 white domes or the Qasr al-Hosn and 18th century Palace and Fort. Hard to believe that the country was founded only in 1971. The Louvre Abu Dhabi opened in November 2017 and is the first branch of the Louvre to open outside France.

Day 5: Abu Dhabi
Day 6: At Sea
Day 7: Muscat

Muscat is one of the Middle East’s oldest cities and is filled with fascinating history, charm and natural beauty. Wandering through Muscat you can enjoy rare glimpses of the rich and opulent cultural heritage of the land. Tourists who come from all over the world, Muscat holds a special charm with its grand forts, parks and museums all of which help one to understand the history of Oman.

Day 8: Khasab

Khasab is a port city in the northwest Omani exclave of Musandam. It is the state capital of the Musandam peninsula on the coast of the Hormuz Strait between Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. Surrounded by white sandy beaches and towering mountains and peaks, the beaches are certainly worth a visit as there is an abundance of marine life. Dhows sail twice a day from Khasab to Telegraph Island and charge around RO 30 if you choose not to share.

Day 9: Sir Bani Yas

Sir Bani Yas is famed for its wild life, both indigenous and endangered that roam free on the Island. Don’t be surprised to see majestic Giraffe’s and the endangered Arabian Oryx which is one of the largest in the world. The Arabian Wildlife Park occupies almost 50% of the island.
