Your Cruise on the fabulous P&O Ventura,  begins and ends in the port of Southampton, UK. From where you sail over to Gijon – La Coruna – Oporto and St. Peter Port before returning to Southampton.

Day 1 – Southampton – Embark your ship – P&O Ventura

Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Gijon

Gijón covers an area of 182 sq kilometers is located on the picturesque coast of the of Asturias, one of  Spain’s’ most unspoiled regions. Stunning beaches including the beach at San lorenzo Poniente and El Arbeyal. The main central Plazas are San Miguel and San Agustin where shops and restaurants abound.

 Day 4: La Coruna

The site of the fabled, ancient Tower of Hercules lighthouse, which has been operating since the second-century AD. La Coruna is well known for its glazed windowed balconies or galerias and one of the longest promenades in Europe. The promenade, runs along the city’s headland and passes many of its most interesting sights.

Day 5: Oporto

Built along the hillsides overlooking the mouth of the Douro river offers Oporto an outstanding landscape with a 2000-year history. Its narrow winding cobbled streets is a testament to its age. Visit the historic area of Ribera, classified as a World Heritage Site for an insight into the local history by walking through ‘a living museum’ featuring architectural contrasts, traditional cafes, beautiful buildings, bars and restaurants.

Day 6: At Sea
Day 7: St. Peter Port

St Peter Port on the Island of Guernsey, with its cobbled streets and picturesque seafront marina and historic gardens make this a pleasant and enjoyable port of call. This charming village is home to many historical buildings and attractions, Fort Grey, Martello tower with views across the stunning bay, the ship wrecked museum, castle Carey or Castle Cornet. Walks through the countryside lead you to sheltered bays and cliff tops overlooking this beautiful island.

Day 8: Southampton.         Disembark your ship.
