Wherever your fantastic cruise holiday takes you, you’re sure to enjoy the most fantastic views possible on board the beautifully bright Vision of the Seas. Her light and airy design, enhanced by seemingly miles of huge windows and glass-walled public areas offers a gorgeous vista on the world – in fact, you’d have to search hard to find a space on this ship where there isn’t an amazing ocean view. Vision of the Seas is a little less lively than other, larger ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet which makes it a superb choice for those wanting a more peaceful and romantic cruise.

Royal Caribbean are still to release full details of the ship and when they do we will up-date our information.

Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Vigo

Vigo is set in a beautiful natural environment and its cultural scene far exceeds its size. Try the local seafood at the port, go shopping at the Rua do Príncipe, or brave the blue fire of the traditional Galacian punch drink queimada.

Day 4: Lisbon

Lisbon. The wonderful city of Lisbon is simply full of Neoclassical buildings and wide plazas. Famed as the port from which the ships departed on their discovery of the Americas and the New World.  Lisbon’s magnificent harbour is spanned by the longest suspension bridge in Europe. Other landmarks include the World Heritage Sites of Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, both built in Lisbon’s native Manueline architectural style.

Day 5: Seville

Seville is very much an “unsung” city on the Southern tip of Spain.  Known for its laid back attitude to life, outstanding seafood and its sun-drenched atmospheric streets. The Alcazar, the Seville Cathedral, and the Archivo de Indias are World Heritage sites. Walk its narrow-cobbled streets bathed in centuries of Andalusian sunshine where the elegant mirador-fronted facades painted in pastel shades take you back to days long gone or walk  the narrow lanes of the Jewish Quarter, the expanse of the Plaza de Espana, or the halls of the Museo de Bellas Artes.

Day 6: At sea
Day 7: Lanzarote

Lanzarote. is famous for its moon like incredible moon-like volcanic landscape. Shore excursions to Timanfaya National Park and Fire mountain provide the best views. The valley of a thousand palms, at Hiria in the southern part of the island are best viewed from Mirador del Rio.

Day 8: Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria. The third largest of the Canary Islands, Grand Canaria is certainly an Island of many faces. in the Canaries. From the mountains and deserts of the south to the green and tree filled north. Gran Canaria offers many opportunities for hiking, trekking by horse or on foot, and of course, water sports. Museums, churches and historic towns are in abundance for the less energetic.

Day 9: Tenerife

Tenerife, the largest and certainly the most popular of the Canary Islands. Tenerife is home to Mount Teide, the tallest peak in Spain. The volcanic rock formations and tropical forest, beautiful beaches and dramatic landscape are all worth a visit, with a varied selection of nightlife to suit all tastes.

Day 10: La Palma

La Palma Often referred to as the “the pretty island”, La Palma offers some spectacular walking trails with rugged, volcanic landscapes often shrouded in clouds, with dense green valleys below. Small towns and villages dot the landscape with bananas growing in nearby fields.

Day 11: Madeira

Madeira. lies within an Atlantic archipelago to the west of Morocco. The Gulf Stream gives the island its warm year-round weather and flowers that bloom in riotous colour along its mountainous terrain. Madeira offers mountain walks with breathtaking views, trails on horseback, bird watching, big game fishing, boat trips, surfing, canyoning, scuba diving and whale and dolphin watching. Visit Monte Palace Tropical Garden, or Santa Clara Monastery, or just relax and enjoy the islands fabulous nature.

Day 12: At Sea
Day 13: La Coruna

La Coruna. The site of the fabled, ancient Tower of Hercules lighthouse, which has been operating since the second-century AD. La Coruna is well known for its glazed windowed balconies or galerias and one of the longest promenades in Europe. The promenade, runs along the city’s headland and passes many of its most interesting sights.
