YOUR HOLIDAY HOME AT SEA

Vision of the Seas

Wherever your fantastic cruise holiday takes you, you’re sure to enjoy the most fantastic views possible on board the beautifully bright Vision of the Seas. Her light and airy design, enhanced by seemingly miles of huge windows and glass-walled public areas offers a gorgeous vista on the world – in fact, you’d have to search hard to find a space on this ship where there isn’t an amazing ocean view. Vision of the Seas is a little less lively than other, larger ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet which makes it a superb choice for those wanting a more peaceful and romantic cruise.

Royal Caribbean are still to release full details of the ship and when they do we will up-date our information.

Day 2: Le Havre

Le Havre. stands at the mouth of the river Seine as it joins the English Channel. Almost destroyed in WW11 it has been rebuilt into the modern city it is today. Art galleries and cafés, as well as the outstanding St-Joseph’s Church are just some of the many attractions. Take a short stroll from the docks and turn the corner from the Seine estuary and you will be face to face with the English Channel. This is where you will find the Yacht Marina and in summer beach huts line the shingle beach as far as Sainte-Agresse and elegant and up-market suburb of Le Havre.

Day 3: At Sea
Day 4: Gijon

Gijón is set along the picturesque coast of the of Asturias, one of ‘Green Spain’s’ most unspoiled regions. Rugged mountain peaks form a backdrop for the deep blue sea and present a dramatic contrast. Originally built on a rock jutting out over the sea, the city of Gijón dates back to the Romans.

Day 5: Bilbao

Bilbao was something of a forgotten city until the opening of the Guggenheim Museum put Bilbao firmly on the map. The Siete Calles district is overflowing with bars and restaurants in the city’s older quarter. The Gran Via and Alameda Mazarredo are graceful wide 19th century boulevards, perfect to take that after diner stroll and very much in contrast the undulating lines of the Guggenheim. All of which attest to Bilbao’s cultural vitality.
